About Campitos Turquoise
Campitos Turquoise is mined in Sonora, Mexico and is known for its gorgeous blue to blue-green coloring. Unlike turquoise that is traditionally extracted from hard-rock deposits, Campitos is often found in clay deposits as nuggets and nodules. Its coloring can range from soft aqua to vibrant blue, with stones displaying everything from minimal matrix to contrasting brown, gray or darker natural matrix. These variations are exactly what make each Campitos stone unique.
